The BoatLIFE LifeSeal Sealant Cartridge in clear is a remarkable product. It combines marine silicone and polyurethane, specially formulated for fiberglass. This sealant offers a fast - curing, low - odor solution with high adhesion. It won't sag, corrode, or turn yellow. It creates a long - lasting, watertight seal for joints that experience structural movement and can be used both above and below the waterline. Ideal for sealing decks to hulls, thru - hull fittings, vinyl ports, windshields, and bedding marine hardware. It adheres well to metal, glass, wood, Lexan®, ABS®, and some other materials. And the best part is, you can remove it without harming the gel - coat. However, it's not suitable for ferro cement hulls, impregnated wood, or oil - soaked materials. It cures even in the presence of water, is mildew - resistant, and acid - free.

Using the BoatLIFE LifeSeal Sealant Cartridge is easy. First, make sure the surface is clean and dry. Then, apply the sealant evenly on the area you want to seal, like the joints between the deck and hull or around thru - hull fittings. You can use it above or below the waterline. Just note that it's not for ferro cement hulls, impregnated wood, or oil - soaked materials. When it comes to curing, it can cure even when there's water around. After application, keep the area dry for a while to let it set properly. To maintain its performance, avoid using it on materials it's not recommended for. If you need to remove it later, you can do so without damaging the gel - coat. Also, since it's mildew - resistant and acid - free, it will stay in good condition for a long time with proper use.
