Quick Guide (pdf)

Using this rod holder is a breeze. First, make sure you have the Model # 53679 Installation Socket as it's required for installation. Drill a 2 - 9/16 in. diameter hole on your boat where you want to mount the rod holder. Then, insert the rod holder through the hole and use the included backing plate and installation nut to secure it firmly. The 0 - degree angle is great for keeping your fishing rod in a straight position. The ½ in. drain hole in the cast bottom helps to prevent water from accumulating inside. When it comes to maintenance, since it's made of 316L stainless steel, you can simply wipe it with a clean cloth after each use. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they might scratch the surface and damage the black liner. Store it in a dry place when not in use to prolong its lifespan.
