Ancor's heat shrink connectors have heat-activated adhesive in the tubing sleeve. When heated, they create a watertight seal and excellent vibration and strain relief.

Using these Ancor heat shrink ring terminals is easy. First, make sure your wire is the right size, between 16 - 14 AWG. Slide the terminal onto the wire end. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the heat shrink tubing. As it heats up, the adhesive inside will melt and create a strong, watertight seal. Make sure to heat it evenly to get the best results. When handling, be careful not to overheat the terminal, as this could damage the adhesive or the terminal itself. For maintenance, keep them in a dry place to prevent corrosion. If you notice any signs of damage or if the seal isn't holding, it's best to replace the terminal.
