Product Detail

The Airmar R599C-LM is a top - notch in - hull transducer. With a power of 2 to 3 kW, it offers excellent deep - water performance. It has a low frequency range from 28 to 60 kHz and a medium frequency from 80 to 130 kHz, providing a total bandwidth of 82 kHz. This means it covers popular fishing frequencies like 38, 50, 88, and 107 kHz. The low frequency can reach depths up to 3,048 m (10,000'), while the medium frequency can go down to 914 m (3,000'). CHIRP technology gives 5 to 10 times more detail than conventional frequencies. The transducer comes with a urethane housing and a plastic mounting tank. It uses exclusive Xducer ID® technology. It's great for boats where you don't want to drill holes in the hull, like trailered or multi - hull boats. The deadrise range is 0° to 22°, and it's suitable for vessels 12 m (40') and above. The cable length is 15 m (49'), and it has bare wire connectors. In the box, you'll find the R599 transducer with a 15m cable, a tank, a gasket, a plate, and hardware.

Using the Airmar R599C - LM is easy. First, cut the included tank to match your boat's deadrise angle and then fix it inside the hull. Place the transducer in the tank so it's properly oriented for the best performance. This transducer is designed for solid fiberglass hulls only. When using it, keep in mind that the deadrise angle of your boat should be between 0° and 22°. For maintenance, regularly check the cable for any signs of wear and tear. The urethane housing is durable, but avoid sharp objects that could damage it. Make sure to keep the mounting tank clean and free of debris. If you're not using the transducer for a long time, store it in a dry place. With proper use and maintenance, this transducer will serve you well for many fishing trips.
