If it's over 6 meters long, it has a built - in termination resistor for network backbone extension. NMEA 0183 cables end in an Airmar 8 - Pin connector (CX - 128) that can be removed. Combined cables end in an Airmar 8 - Pin connector and come with an Airmar splitter box having NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 output ports.
