Mount the base on the bow of your boat. Then, attach the 10' angled pole with the 2 - Pin Locking - Collar to the base. Insert the 9W wedge base lamp into the light head. When your boat is in use, the light will provide a 1 - mile, 225° visibility, which is great for boats up to 39.4 ft. (12 m). When you're done fishing or anchoring, simply remove the light from the base and stow it away. As for maintenance, keep the light clean. Wipe it down with a soft cloth regularly.
