The ACR OLAS Wireless Range Extender is a compact and portable device that offers great flexibility. It can scale your OLAS GUARDIAN Engine Kill Switch and OLAS CORE MOB Alarm Systems for larger vessels. This extender effectively extends the 'virtual tether' between OLAS transmitters (OLAS Tag and OLAS Float - On) and OLAS receivers (OLAS CORE, OLAS GUARDIAN). For vessels up to 80 ft. long, within 2 to 4 seconds (depending on the OLAS receiver in use) of a transmitter going missing, all synced receivers (except the EXTENDER) will sound a loud alarm to alert the crew of an MOB incident. Along with the audible alarm, the ACR OLAS Mobile App uses the phone or tablet's GPS to record the incident's location and helps the crew recover the MOB by providing clear visual signals and bearing data. The OLAS EXTENDER can also be used in areas where transmitter signals may be blocked, expanding the applications of the OLAS MOB System. With its extended coverage on larger vessels, it greatly increases the potential usage scenarios of the ACR OLAS MOB System, suitable for more recreational and commercial vessels.
