Using the Bluestorm Cirrus 26 Inflatable PFD is easy. You can choose to let it inflate automatically when it's fully in the water or manually by pulling the T - cord. If you want, you can convert it to manual - only mode using the override cap. When putting it on, make sure the waist belt is comfortable and in a low position. The D - ring is there for you to attach your kill switch cord. Remember, this PFD is for individuals 16 and older. Before each use, check the CO2 cylinder to make sure it's in good condition and replace it if needed. Also, look over the PFD for any signs of damage. To keep it in good shape, after each use, rinse it with fresh water to remove salt, sand, or dirt. Let it dry completely before storing it in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight for long periods as this can damage the material.
