Product Detail

Blue Sea Systems presents the 10A Marine Grade Short Stop Circuit Breakers, model 7151 - BSS. These breakers are crafted with corrosion - resistant materials, making them perfect for harsh marine environments. The IP64 water - resistant boot offers excellent protection against dust and splashing water. With a push - to - reset operation, it only disconnects when tripped. The stainless - steel lock nuts ensure secure connections. A red insulating boot comes with the retail product. Specifications include 10A DC amperage, a maximum voltage of 28vDC, a thermal trip and manual reset type, a #10 - 32 terminal stud, 20 in - lb (2.26 Nm) terminal stud torque, 2500A @ 28V DC interrupt capacity, and an operating temperature range from - 10°C to 60°C. The package includes a 10A Short Stop Circuit Breaker and a Short Stop Circuit Breaker Boot.

Using this 10A Blue Sea Short Stop Circuit Breaker is straightforward. First, make sure to turn off the power source before installation. Connect the circuit breaker to your system using the #10 - 32 terminal studs and tighten them to 20 in - lb (2.26 Nm) of torque. Once installed, you can turn the power back on. The breaker will automatically trip if there's an overload or short - circuit. To reset it, simply push the reset button. When using it, always ensure the operating temperature stays between - 10°C and 60°C. Avoid exposing it to excessive water or dust, but the IP64 boot will offer some protection. For maintenance, check the connections regularly to make sure they're secure. If the red insulating boot gets dirty, you can clean it with a soft, dry cloth. And remember, if the breaker trips frequently, there might be an issue with your electrical system that needs to be checked out.
