Product Detail

The B&G Halo24 Radar is a game-changer. With a compact 24-inch dome, it offers an impressive 48 nm range. It uses advanced pulse compression technology with beam sharpening for clearer images. The Simultaneous Dual Range operation lets you see both near and far areas at once. It can rotate at an ultra-fast 60 RPM up to 2nm range, giving you an almost real - time view for ultimate collision avoidance. The VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology helps you identify if targets are approaching or moving away, improving your safety. It has various modes like harbour, offshore, weather, and bird modes for easy operation. The MARPA target tracking can follow up to 10 targets (20 in dual range) with a heading sensor and GPS. It's ready instantly from standby. The new dome design is lightweight, low - profile, and has integrated LED lights. Specifications: Operating temperature ranges from -25° to +55°C. It's waterproof (IPX6) and has a relative humidity tolerance of 95% at +35°C. Power consumption is 14.5 to 27W at 13.8 V during operation and 3.9 W in standby. It has a diameter of 610 mm and a height of 225 mm, weighing 6.75kg without cable. The radar ranges from 100 m to 48nm with 18 settings. In the box, you'll find a Halo24 Dome, a 20m Cable, and a J45 F to 5pin Ethernet Adapter - 1.5m.

Using the B&G Halo24 Radar is easy. First, make sure you have all the necessary components in the box installed correctly. Connect the cable to the appropriate ports and ensure the power supply is within the specified range of 9V to 31.2V DC. Once powered on, select the mode that suits your situation, like harbour mode when you're in a crowded area or offshore mode for open waters. When using the VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology, note that you need a heading sensor and GPS. This technology will automatically show you if targets are coming towards you or moving away. For maintenance, keep the radar clean and dry. Since it's waterproof (IPX6), a simple wipe can remove dirt. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you're using a long cable, make sure it's in good condition. When not in use, put the radar in standby mode to save power. Also, be aware of the operating temperature range of -25° to +55°C. Avoid using it in extreme temperatures outside this range to prevent damage.
