Ancor heat shrink connectors have heat-activated adhesive in the heat shrink tubing sleeve. When heated, they form a watertight seal, offering great vibration and strain relief.

Using these Ancor heat shrink spade terminals is easy. First, strip the wire you want to connect. Then insert the wire into the terminal. Next, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the heat shrink tubing. As you heat it, the adhesive inside will melt and form a watertight seal. When heating, keep the heat source moving to ensure even heating. Be careful not to overheat the terminal as it may damage the adhesive or the terminal itself. For maintenance, keep the terminals in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Check the connections regularly to make sure they're still tight and the seal is intact.
