Using your new AM/FM antenna is easy. First, find a suitable location on your boat to mount the antenna using the standard 114 threaded base. Connect the unattached Motorola type plug to your radio. The included 15 - foot RG - 8X marine cable gives you enough length to reach your device. When you're done using it, there's no special procedure to stop reception. Just leave it mounted. As for maintenance, keep the antenna clean. Wipe it down with a soft cloth every now and then to remove dirt and grime. Check the soldered connections and the ferrule regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Remember, this product can't be returned to the place you bought it from.
