Zeus 24V 7kW N62 Alternator with Clutch Pulley
The ARCO Zeus 24V 7kW alternator is a powerhouse! It generates super - high amperage when cruising or at higher RPMs. At just under 3,000 alternator RPM, it continuously pumps out over 3kW (109 Amps), and at under 6,000 RPM, it reaches almost 6kW (218 Amps). In practical terms, a marine diesel engine at 1,500 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio gets over 3kW, and a Mercedes Sprinter at 1,800 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio hits over 6kW!
This alternator kicks in for cruising or at mid - to - higher RPMs. It runs cooler and offers more power than those old, bulky designs. The new era of 24V performance is here!
Competitors' 24V alternators use a 12V rotor and field current, which is less efficient and limits output at all RPMs. ARCO uses a native 24V rotor and field current, making our 24V alternator run cooler and last longer.
