Zeus 24V 7kW 3.15 Alternator with Isolated Ground (Common Rail)

The ARCO Zeus 24V 7kW alternator is a powerhouse. It churns out extremely high amperage when your engine is cruising or running at higher RPMs. At just under 3,000 alternator RPM, it continuously generates over 3kW (109 Amps), and at under 6,000 RPM, it hits almost 6kW (218 Amps). For instance, a marine diesel engine at 1,500 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio will generate over 3kW, and a Mercedes Sprinter at 1,800 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio can generate over 6kW!

This alternator kicks in for cruising or at mid - to - higher RPMs. It runs cooler and packs more power than those old, bulky designs. The new era of 24V performance is here.

Other 24V alternators use a 12V rotor and field current, which is less efficient and limits output at all RPMs. ARCO uses a native 24V rotor and field current, so our 24V alternator runs cooler, directly extending its lifespan.

Using the ARCO Zeus 24V 7kW alternator is straightforward. First, make sure it's mounted correctly on a Yanmar Common Rail Engine introduced after 2013, like the JH - CR, 3JH40, etc. When your engine reaches the cut - in RPM of 1,962 alternator RPM, the alternator will start working. It will generate power as your engine runs, especially well at cruising or higher RPMs. For the best performance, you can use the ARCO Zeus Bluetooth Alternator Regulator, which is great for lithium battery charging too. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the operating temperature. The maximum continuous operating temperature is 100°C / 212°F. If it gets too hot, there might be an issue. Also, since it has heat - shedding coatings and dual cooling fans, make sure these components are clean and functioning properly. Check the battery post, pulley, and hardware regularly to ensure they are tight and in good condition.
