At just under 1,500 RPM, it continuously generates over 1.4kW (51 Amps), and at 2,000 Alternator RPM, it can almost reach 2.4kW (87 Amps). In real - world use, a marine diesel engine idling at 750 RPM with a 2:1 pulley ratio can generate over 1.5kW (55 Amps), and a Mercedes Sprinter at 750 RPM with a 3.21:1 ratio can generate over 2.5kW (91 Amps)!
Unlike competitors' 24V alternators that use a 12V rotor and field current, which are less efficient and limit output at all RPMs, the ARCO alternator uses a native 24V rotor and field current. This makes it run cooler and extends its lifespan.
